The Holy Rosary

Pray the Rosary every day, pray together:-

1. The Rosary prayer begins by with the Sign of the Cross.

2. Followed by reciting the Apostles Creed.

3. On the first bead say the "Our Father" prayer.

4. Then on the next three beads the "Hail Mary" prayer.
5. Followed on the fourth bead by the "Glory Be" prayer.

Then start praying around the beads in decades.

Firstly announce the Mystery for the decade you are praying,

Meditate on the Mystery
Take your time, and let the words of scripture
Sink deep into your heart

(You will find a list of the Mysteries,
And the days they are prayed on the bottom of this page)

Now say the "Our Father" prayer.

Then continue with 10 "Hail Mary's"
At the end of the 10 Hail Mary beads, on the Ave/11th bead

Pray the "Glory Be" and Pray the 'O' My Jesus prayer.

Still on the 11th/Ave bead:-

Anounce the next mystery

Starting the next decade, continue thus:-

Our Father, then
10 haily Mary's
Glory be,
'O' my Jesus, and so on
Ending with the "Hail Holy Queen" prayer.

Prayers Of the Holy Rosary:-

Make the sign of the cross

In the name of the Father, and of the Son,
and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

The Apostles' Creed

I believe in God, the Father almighty.
Maker of heaven and earth;
And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, Our Lord.
Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit.
born of the Virgin Mary;
suffered under Pontius Pilate;
was crucified, died, and was buried;
He descended into hell.
On the third day He rose again from the dead.
He ascended into heaven,
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
From thence He will come again
to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Ghost,
the Holy Catholic Church,
the Communion of Saints,
the Forgiveness of Sins,
the Resurrection of the body,
and the Life everlasting. Amen.

Our Father

Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us
and lead us not into temptation
but deliver us from evil. Amen

The Hail Mary

Hail Mary, full of grace
the Lord is with thee!
Blessed art thou among women
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus
Holy Mary, Mother of God
pray for us sinners
now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

The Glory Be

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and
to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning
is now and ever shall be world without end. Amen

'O' My Jesus

'O' My Jesus, forgive us our sins
save us from the fires of hell
Lead all souls to heaven
especially those in most need of your mercy

The Hail Holy Queen

Hail, holy Queen, mother of mercy,
Hail our life, our sweetness, and our hope.
To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve,
to thee do we send up our sighs
mourning and weeping in this valley of tears.
Turn, then, most gracious advocate
thine eyes of mercy toward us
and after this, our exile,
show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus:
O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary.
In the name of the Father
and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
